Last month I bought a new CRT monitor. It's a HP s7502 monitor, and it looks pretty good.

Apparently this monitor was supposed to be used in a research project related to AIDS, as you can see in the top metal plaque. It was never used however, because it was closed on the box when I bought it.

The monitor menu, showing it's running at 75Hz. Crazy to think even this technology was able to support refresh rates higher than 60Hz.

It's the same monitor featured in this video by SUCRA; his monitor even has the same metal plaque as mine. Link to the video .

Anyway, it's been pretty awesome to use this monitor. There's something about this technology that is just cool to use and look at. Maybe it's just nostalgia though.
